We would be in deep trouble.

Good theory about Rajni-Daughter-Dhanush conundrum. I was and am a fan of Rajni. But facts are facts. I recommend you to watch "Padayappa" again- Rajni's swiftness during song sequences and fight sequences and his general commad etc. are a pleasure to watch.

Now watch "Chandramukhi"- particularly concentrate on the songs. He practically doesn't move- the songs are coreographed so painstakingly with swift camera movements and cuts to camouflage his lethargy and slowness. And he is almost invisible in a group scene- so much for his "screen presence".

So think about what happened between "Padayappa" and "Chandramukhi" : the answer is "Baba". Somethings changed with "Baba" - I can only hope things will change back.

That said, I'lll be there for the first show of "Sivaji", wherever I am.nmageshhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07567172144068196991noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14749639.post-1138641303889920452006-01-30T09:15:00.000-08:002006-01-30T09:15:00.000-08:00“Pre-"Baba" Rajni had it”Rajni always had the fire...“Pre-"Baba" Rajni had it”

Rajni always had the fire. I thought ‘Baba’ was a victim of prochronism. Not many people appreciated it. But, I have the cassette and viewed the movie many times.

-Gopalgthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11323851064079591672noreply@blogger.com
